Housing Criteria Checklist
This checklist is to help you complete all requirements necessary to be offered a room in campus housing.
On-campus housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Room assignments are made during the month of August.
Housing Financial Incentives
TC3 offers special incentives to help you save money on campus housing costs. Submit your housing contract and $250 deposit by December 1, 2024 and automatically earn a $250 discount on the annual housing cost. If you are awarded the TC3 Housing Grant, you could save an additional $1,000 on the annual housing cost. The grant is offered first to students from Cortland, 快播视频 and Tioga counties. Students from other counties are considered on a secondary basis until the housing grant funding is exhausted. Non-New York state residents may apply for the Be One of Us Scholarship to save money on non-resident tuition.
Housing Requirements
To be offered a room you must complete the following:

- Register for classes
- Submit immunization records
- Pay $2,500 down payment (if not using financial aid)

New residents must pay a $250 security deposit. You may pay your deposit as soon as you apply to the College. Check or credit card payments may be made online. Money orders payable to 快播视频 Cortland Community College may be mailed to the address at the top of this checklist. Returning residents will have their existing deposit moved to the Fall 2024 semester, unless there are excessive room damages or you owe a bill to the college. If you need to make another deposit, you may do so online using your myTC3 account. Anticipated financial aid may not be used to pay a security deposit. A down payment of $2,500, in addition to the $250 security deposit, is required of students who will not or are not eligible to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
NOTE: The security deposit does not 鈥渉old鈥 a room. You must complete all applicable steps in this checklist. Your security deposit will be refunded if you are not offered a room.
