Fred Farah Named Employee of the Month
Fred Farah, adjunct associate professor, is the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for April.
Farah has been teaching at TC3 for more than 40 years, having taught at least one class each semester since 1984. He is known for his enthusiasm and willingness to assist both current and former students. Through the years he has taught a variety of subjects, including biology, algebra, physics, and statistics, using creative and innovative techniques to incorporate hands-on experiences that foster deeper learning. He was also praised for providing real-world experiences for his students, using trips and guest speakers to engage his students with the local community.
The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude. Nominations for the award are accepted from students, staff, or members of the community.
As the Employee of the Month, Farah receives a gift certificate to a local business, a TC3 Employee of the Month tumbler, and exclusive use of the Employee of the Month parking spot.
