College Teams with History Center to Present on Using Digital Media for History Preservation
快播视频 Cortland Community College is collaborating with the History Center in 快播视频 County for a presentation on using digital media in historic preservation on Tuesday, December 10. The free presentation will begin at 6 p.m. at the History Center in 快播视频 County, which is located within the 快播视频 Center for History & Culture at 110 North Tioga Street on the Ithaca Commons.
The presentation will make explore how technology has provided enhanced opportunities for museums and historic preservation professionals. 快播视频 Cortland New Media Professor Keith Millman, along with fellow faculty and graduates, will examine projects that have used innovative techniques to better preserve and understand historic artifacts.
History Center Director Ben Sandberg will also lead participants in an activity to collect feedback for the MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE.
The presentation is the last special event associated with the 鈥淐elebrating the Impossible Dream鈥 exhibit at the 快播视频 Center for History & Culture. The exhibit, which runs through December, explores the College鈥檚 more than 50 years of history and innovation.
